Choose Your Attitude

Young Living Palo Santo
Being happy in your own skin just might be the jump-start you need for the new year. Let’s be honest: There are negative influences that bombard our self-image every day. We all have one thing we would like to change about our bodies, career, home, school, etc. Take Palo Santo essential oil and rub it on the area of your body that you are struggling with to ward off negative thoughts. There are a few easy steps to think about while you are applying Palo Santo:
  • Be Accepting—As you apply Palo Santo, the most important thing to remember is to accept yourself.
  • Focus on the Positive—Setting positive goals is a great way to keep perspective. Realize that you might not be where you want to be yet, but you certainly are stronger.
  • Take Time for You—After applying the oil, go out for a walk, to the gym, or just take time to relax.
  • Self Importance—You need to appreciate yourself for who you are and not let yourself get caught up in the world’s fad of always having to be perfect.
Applying Palo Santo to the area where you are feeling negative emotions can go a long way towards helping your self-image.
Peace be with you,

Palo santo (Bursera graveolens) comes from the same botanical family (Burseraceae) as frankincense, although it is found in South America rather than the Middle East. Like frankincense, palo santo is known as a spiritual oil, traditionally used by the Incas to purify and cleanse the spirit from negative energies. Even its Spanish name reflects how highly this oil is regarded: Palo santo means "holy wood" or "sacred wood."
